Representative Karen Boback is always helping and serving others. She warmly expressed her commitment
to serving the public when she stated, "I have spent much of my professional life as a public school teacher and college professor,
and I have met many families who are concerned about the future of their children. I can't think of anything more rewarding to
do than to be a legislator in order to help write laws to preserve the values we have instilled in the children of the 21st century."

A Community Volunteer: You have seen Karen working at the Luzerne County Fair as a scholarship fund

Association; dedicating a flag pole at the entrance of Harveys Lake; delivering Christmas cheer baskets for senior citizens in the
area; selling tee shirts for Relay for Life - TAEA (Tunkhannock Area Education Association); co-chairing the Harveys Lake
